Winter activities in Luleå. The most popular activity to do in the winter is probably go snowmobiling. In every age since you were born you have gone snowmobiling. It’s fun, it’s fast and it’s even more fun again.
Skiing
You can also go skiing in the woods. It’s a nice outside activity in the winter and you can do it with you’re friends and your family or you can just go by yourself.
Iceskating
Iceskating is a winter activity to. It’s mostly hockey players that do iceskating but you can do long distance skating to.
Luleå Hockey
Hockey is the best winter sport ever. We usually watch it on TV. And when it is hockey on the TV most of the population in our town is watching it. Our home team Luleå hockey plays in the arena called Coop Arena in Luleå.
Snowball wars
Snowball wars is very popular among the kids. Even though everyone every once in
awhile is throwing a snowball at someone. But it is also a sport. Take make up teams and we'll have snowball war.
LF basket
Lf Basket is Luleå’s male basketball team. Why I wrote that as a winter activity is because in our country we play basketball in the winter. But not outside in the snow. We play in side in arenas.

In the winter in Luleå we like to ride snowmobiles and go to the ice track on a sunny day. Then we go to a place called Gråsjälören and eat waffles and sausages. In Luleå it can be up to 30 -

In Luleå there’s many funny things you can do during the winter. Ice tracks, rinks, snowmobile trails, slalom and every year they build a slide that looks like an animal. Evert year its a different animal, this year its a hedgehog. All the kids enjoy it.
In Måttsund you can go skiing. Måttsund it not so big but it fun. They got a ski lift and a big house were you can buy ski clothes and equipment. You can also eat there.

In the winter you have too be warm so we wear warm clothes. For an example you can wear a warm hat, winter jacket, cover pants, gloves and boots.
